Mythathon – 2019 TBR

Hello everyone! I hope your reading is going well!

I saw on twitter that BowTiesBooks was hosting a readathon based on Greek Gods and the Zodiac. I, loving both those things decided to take part.

I’m part of Team Earth, which is run by BrittanytheBibliophile – and there are prompts for each team, depending on if you choose Fire, Air, Water or my team, Earth.

All the prompts are found on their twitter, here!

For Team Earth, here is my TBR!

Aphrodite is Known for Having Multiple Types of Lovers.

This book has been on my TBR for far too long – and I thought this would fit this prompt perfectly.

I’ve heard mixed reviews of this book so I’m going in with lowish expectations.

Have any of you read this book, if so, let me know what you thought down below!

Aphrodite owned a girdle that contained her enchantments.

This is the book I hope I’ll get to read the most.

I cannot wait to jump into the GrishaVerse and to experience Leigh’s beautiful writing once again.

This book’s main character is Nikolai, who I don’t think is very feminine – but Zoya and Nina are so, I’m counting it!

Worldwide Artists Continue to Create Stunning Sculptures in the Name of Aphrodite/ Aphrodite is the goddess of procreation.

I already read this book and it was fantastic.

This is both an award winning book and a middle grade so it ticks of both of these challenges! It’s also very short which is a plus!

I’m exited to re-read this and if you’re stuck on a book for the above challenges – this one is perfect!

The Group Book – Chosen by Brittany

I was so happy to find out that this was the group book as it was on my TBR for quite some time!

I feel like this book could also cover the Girdle challenge, as I think Lira will be quite feminine.

this book has to be read, as it’s the set group book – team earth, book.

thank you for reading – are you participating in this/any readathon – if so, what team/what readathon are you on? thanks for again for reading – nick
